On Thursday afternoon, Prince William and Kate hopped on the Elizabeth line from Acton to Tottenham Court Road and went for a visit to The Dog and Duck pub in Soho.

They were visiting the centuries-old tavern, which was first established in 1734 and was once a popular spot for Madonna and Guy Ritchie.

The couple met with local business owners and spoke with an enthusiastic crowd, ahead of the UK’s coronation bank holiday.

Prince William revealed how his three children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, felt during the coronation rehearsal on Wednesday.

When asked if they enjoyed their practice run of the big day, the Prince revealed: “Yes they did, we’ve got a few more practices going on keeping us busy!”

“[I’m] very excited it will be a busy weekend!”

Kate also mentioned inside the pub that Prince George was particularly thrilled for the upcoming event.

The Princess said: “He is [excited] actually. Having done a few rehearsals, I think everyone is a bit more relaxed.”

Prince George, nine, will be a Page of Honour to the King at Saturday’s ceremony, alongside Queen Consort’s three grandsons.

Meanwhile, Prince William quickly got into the spirit of the occasion by asking for a pint of his favorite beverage, cider, after Kate. Although tempted by vodka, they decided to opt for a safer option and were both given pints of Mortimer’s Orchard Cider.

During the outing, Princess Kate opted to wear a long red coat by Eponine London, which she had previously worn during a visit to Wales for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.

Her accessories included white heels and a matching handbag. It was a recycled piece from her closet.

Following their time at the pub, the Prince and Princess of Wales proceeded to greet some of the people gathered outside.
