At just 10 years old, Prince George already has a lot of expectations on his young shoulders.

But the future king is in good hands as Princess Kate is already prepping him in the sweetest way possible. The mother was seen giving her eldest child some stellar encouragement on a recent outing with the royal children.

Prince George helped wrap gifts with sister Princess Charlotte and little brother Prince Louis in heartwarming footage released on Monday, after it was captured on a visit to Windsor’s baby bank earlier this year. The youngsters helped pack gift packs of clothes and toys for other children less fortunate than them as part of the centre’s Christmas Pyjama appeal.

But in one touching moment, Kate can be seen providing some gentle encouragement to George. The footage, created by filmmaker Will Warr who has previously worked with the family, can be seen putting a protective arm around her son as she tells him: “You can see how rewarding this sort of work is, knowing you are helping others,” as he replies, “yeah”.

She adds, explaining to George what they need to do: “All these bags are donations, and then we have to go and sort them and put them in all the boxes.”

The clip was posted to the Kensington Royal social media accounts earlier on Monday. Charlotte, eight, can also be seen exclaiming “oh la la” in the footage, before helping pick out toys.

The royal siblings are filmed picking out toys and clothes to pack into the gift bags. Cheeky Louis, five, is also seen in a clip picking out a King Kong toy, exclaiming, “this is a big guy”, as they write out gift tags.

Another sweet moment in the video shows Charlotte giggling with her mum as they find a babygro that features a Welsh flag. The video then ends with the children and their mum carrying the gift bags ready for them to be donated to needy families and the message: “Thank you to everyone who so generously supports Baby Banks across the country.”

Kate has previously been seen helping out at Windsor’s Baby Bank, which was set up by two local mums to support parents of young children on the breadline. The charity has already helped 24,000 families in the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire areas since it was founded in 2015.
