The Prince and Princess of Wales will step out for the Easter Sunday service with their children, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Prince William and Kate will be joined by Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Prince Louis, who is expected to make his debut at the church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

It comes after Buckingham Palace confirmed that George will have a starring role as one of King Charles’s Pages of Honour at the coronation on 6 May.

William and Kate are currently taking a break from their royal duties to spend time with their children during their Easter holidays. George, Charlotte and Louis attend Lambrook school, which is a short drive from their Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage.

The Waleses typically spend school holidays at their Norfolk abode, Anmer Hall, but have been known to travel abroad in the past for ski breaks.

William and Kate are regulars at the Easter Sunday church service, and it’s likely that they will be joined by William’s cousins, including Zara Tindall and her husband Mike, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Peter Phillips.

George and Charlotte attended the event for the first time last year, with the family coordinating in blue and navy outfits. Mike and Zara were also accompanied by their eldest child, Mia, while Peter was joined by his daughters, Savannah and Isla.

While the King and the Queen have spent Easter at their Scottish residence, Birkhall, in the past, it is expected that they will host the royals in Windsor this year.

Charles and Camilla will also attend the Royal Maundy Service at York Minster on Thursday, where the King will distribute the Maundy money for the first time as monarch.
