King Charles may be the monarch of the United Kingdom — but to five kids, he’s just grandpa.
Charles has five grandchildren: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis from son Prince William and wife Kate Middleton, and Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from son Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle. Charles’ wife, Queen Camilla, also is a grandparent to five grandchildren through her two children from her first marriage.

The event was hosted to honor Queen Elizabeth, Charles’ mother, who received the title of the United Kingdom’s longest-reigning monarch.

King Charles shared a moment with granddaughter Charlotte and Kate during Trooping the Colour in 2016, in honor of the Queen’s 90th birthday.
