The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked their 15th wedding anniversary with a work outing, as the pair headed to IntoUniversity, an education charity which benefitted from their royal wedding gift fund.
The royal couple were in Walworth, as they joined a group of Year 5 students from the Victory Primary School as they took part in one of the charity’s programmes of free immersive educational activities and workshops. The students took part in an astronomy lesson as they tackled team-based challenges and a creative design task based around the theme of living in space.

IntoUniversity is a charity that aims to help young, disadvantaged people achieve their full potential, and it runs courses that introduce students to university life and aims to inspire their interest in furthering their studies.
The organisation was one of the 26 charities selected by William and Kate for Their Royal Highnesses’ Royal Wedding Gift Fund. The gift fund was set up by the royal couple to allow people to donate money to causes close to the couple’s hearts instead of going for a wedding gift. The fund raised over £1 million.

This wasn’t the only way that the couple marked their Crystal Anniversary, as they had lunch at The Goring following their outing. The hotel has a special significance for Kate, as she stayed in the five-star hotel the night before her wedding to William.
William and Kate’s anniversary
The Prince and Princess of Wales left royal fans besotted as they released a gorgeous family portrait to mark their 15th anniversary. The image featured the couple and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, ten, and Prince Louis, eight, lying on their backs on the grass.

The Wales family were all barefoot for the candid photo, taken during their holiday to Cornwall earlier this month by one of their most trusted photographers, Matt Porteous.
The Princess was holding hands with her youngest son, Louis, while William was sitting next to their beloved cocker spaniel Orla, five, and another dog, believed to be their unnamed puppy, now thought to be a year old. “It’s one of the puppies from last year,” a source told HELLO!.
“We’ve got a little puppy, he’s only eight months,” Kate revealed in February. It’s thought they are marking the celebration on Wednesday privately at home in Forest Lodge in the evening with the children.
On this day 15 years ago, William and Kate were married in front of 2,000 guests at Westminster Abbey, while 22 million people watched the historic moment unfold on their television screens.
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton was the bridesmaid in a stunning white gown, while Prince Harry was the best man. The page boys and flower girls included Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Eliza Lopes, Grace van Cutsem, Lady Louise Windsor, Tom Pettifer and William Lowther-Pinkerton.
