The royal family gathered in full strength this evening in London to honor those who lost their lives in service.
Princess Kate, together with Prince William, who returned from Cape Town, joined King Charles, and other members of the royal family on Saturday for the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

This event, honoring fallen soldiers from the U.K. and the Commonwealth, is a regular and significant occasion on William and Kate’s yearly calendar.

For the solemn event, the Princess of Wales wore an elegant all-black ensemble, accessorized with a pearl drop necklace and matching pearl earrings. The necklace appears to be her “Nura” pearl necklace from Monica Vinader, while her earrings are believed to be Princess Diana’s iconic Collingwood pearl and diamond earrings.

Kate completed her outfit with a crimson poppy pin, a poignant symbol worn by the royal family throughout November to honor fallen troops.

Since marrying William, Kate has attended the Festival of Remembrance seven times, including this year’s appearance.

This weekend marks the Princess’s first appearance at a major ceremonial event since she revealed in September that she had completed chemotherapy.

In addition to her appearance at the Royal Albert Hall, the Princess of Wales is expected to join other members of the royal family tomorrow at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, for the National Service of Remembrance.

This annual event at the Cenotaph sees the royal family, government officials, and military representatives gather for a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the fallen.

As ever, Princess Kate’s presence will be a symbol of the continuity of tradition and duty, offering support to those affected by loss and expressing gratitude to all who have served.
